A charming tiny village situated on the picturesque banks of the river Ptich (18 km from Minsk) displays all ethnographic regions of Belarus with typical features of buildings, mode of life, and everyday house ware, tools, kitchenware, glassware, earthenware, etc.

Arrangements of original pieces of architecture let you compare Belarusian rural styles from different parts of thу country. It offers you an open exposition of country buildings, hundreds of articles of domestic use, agricultural implements formerly used by peasants, works of applied art.

More than hundred of building objects such as peasant houses ("khatas"), dependancies, taverns, mills, smith shops, wells, country school, churches are situated on the area of more than 100 hectares. Thousand of exhibits show peasant tools, house utensils, national dresses. All exhibits of the museums represent authentic things brought from various regoins of Belarus. Peasant houses, barns, windmills, churches, a tavern - all buildings were moved from different parts of the country and brought together in one place. All this genuine. Pieces of villages having been kept up from previous centuries till nowadays introduce the rural style of life in different parts of old Belarus. The architecture, an interior of thу houses, numerous domestic domestic utensils, articles of applied arts, agricultural implements used by the rural population in the past show us the way of life of our ancestors.
