Mir - Nesvizh

Mir castle, situated in the small town of Mir, 90 km to the South-West of Minsk, and dating back to 16th century is an outstanding masterpiece of Belarusian stone Gothic architecture. You will hear all legends connected with this unique place and learn more about the Radzivill family. You will visit Shrine-chapel of the Sviatopolk-Mirskys (1904) and see the famous mosaic image of Jesus Christ.

Nesvizh, 1233, 30 km from Mir, is one of the oldest towns in Belarus, the second cultural capital of the Great Duchy of Lithuania and the place closely connected with the history of one of the richest families in Belarus – the Rudzivills. Enjoy unique architectural monuments of 16th – 18th centuries - town gates "Slutskaya Brama", town hall with a market place, Benedictine monastery, Jesuit Catholic Church "Niesvizh Farah", the first example of baroque style in Belarys constructed by Italian architect J. Maria Bernardoni & the Niesvizh Palace with the park Alba.
